I've Walked All Of Paris - My Feet Hurts As Hell...
Highheels, eight hours walking on uneven grounds, hill and what not; Not such a good idea! Or at least the first thing did not work in this equation!!!
The first day I was smart! I had my wonder-fleemarked-comfy-boots on. Though Montmartre is build on hills, hills and more hills I could keep up to the levels of the arrondissement. Really noone believes in my mapskills and my good sence of direction, but they are killing in Paris!!! I even give directions to the french! I could live here; I know how to buy cheese, baguette and find my way around... We found some really nice sushi, to make the evening light and perfect.
1’st we went to see the area around and found Sacre Coeur just out of the blue. There were football payers in the street lamps playing with the balls in the air, singing at the stairway with all of the city in the background and of course, we can not forget, the Japanese people!
The second day was... not a trouble, but a little bit of a pain. Mostly in our feet. We went to see the music museeum (in the 19‘arrondisssement), but found it to be all in french, so we went to see Jim Morrison’s grave at Cimetière du Père Lachaise, wich had a very bumpyroad! This cemetery is certainly worth a visit. From here we walked to Norte Dame (1‘arrondissement) and went home. So we’ve been all around the east end of Paris by now. Sweet! Weather is a little bit off these days... It can't really decide how it want's to act, but it's all cool... It's all cool!
By the way; The food is delicious. God save white bread and damned be the calories!
