Paris... Je t'amie!

Paris... Je T’amie!
The next days we got to see the better part of Paris (No trashy places or shitty roads, sorry), though I was quite disappointed by Champs Elysses! There really wasn't no great shops, just the big chain shops like Gap, H&M and Louis Vuitton...
Sunday we went to see Louvre (mainly to see Mona Lisa, by Da Vinci. We got to see most of the museum. Morten told me about the history of Egypt, while we saw the old mummies and other old stuff, like jewels (boy he knows many strange things). And we saw a show with arts from all over the world (mostly Africa). After Louvre we went through Jardin Des Tuilerie, Notre Dame, The Eiffel Tour and then last to a quick trip to the Champs Elysses. After this we walked the long way to Montmartre and stopped to get some baguette and some cheese for dinner.

Doves by Notre Dame
Well this I'll give to her... She's really though this through! She calls herself Mia and she disguises as a dove, and really she is Meduesa (due in danish means dove). And she's all around...
Monday:We started the day by going through something called Passage Verdeau, Passage Jouffroy and Passage Panoramas which is a set of roof covered streets from the nineteenth century. In here I had found some arts the first day (Friday the 15.), which I started my shopping with. These streets are very beautiful, but the most beautiful of these is the Gallerie Vivienne (Where we went at the last day). With my to new pieces of art we walked down to Rue de Louvre to get a drink at Starbucks. After the Chai tea, Vanilla latte and a piece of cheesecake (way better than mine) we visited The Latin Quarter. We did not first see why this part has such a great mention in books of Paris, but the we turn down a little street and there is was... There where these amazingly beautiful glass fishes, which I've always been fascinated by, but these was bigger and more... elegant... But! There where more than just fishes! There was dragons, birds and all sorts of animal in the see through glass (probably sounds very cheese, but really nice if you find the right onces)
After this we went to Champs Elysses once again, to walk the whole street (still not impressed). Morten showed my swarovski jewels (then I was really disappointed), but we got some nice Lp's in the Virgin store. We went home early, about 18.30, in lac of thing to do. Therefore we decited, or I did, to walk through the smaller streets to see something new. And so we did. That's how I got to see Hêrmes Paris! But it really wasn't what I had thought.
The night we spent by watching the film Hair, eating french nougat and french cakes

My art shoppings
( A though the 18, at 12.27 )
Is consitering buying the apartment on the other side of the block. We're sitting in Starbuck by Louvre, trying to avoid the cold morning weather. The music is smoothing and the chair is nice and warm. I still haven't awoken, despite of the 40 minuts walk down Rue de Louvre. We'll go to the Latin Quarter and then Champs Elysses (the last mostly a wish of Morten-surprise) I like the small streets better but... I wanna live here!
